Salvation Explained in a Simply Way (VIDEO)
I heard snippets of this message on TikTok, but here’s the whole message. It’s a very simplified version of the Gospel (how to get saved by God) by Rick Warren.
I guess some Christians have bones to pick with this guy, but I’m not going to judge. I really like how Rick uses the theif on the cross (next to Jesus) to boil down salvation to its simplest form. What’s wrong with going back to the basics? Nothing. Christians today don’t do it enough. Because of that, many Christians aren’t even sure they’re saved. I was at that point for a long time.
The Devil tries to twist salvation and make it very complicated – with all these kinds of versions our there. Looking at the thief on the cross who was saved with just a short time to live gives us all the exact requirements to get saved. Adding anything more to that – more than “just Jesus” is complicating (and possibly twisting) the Gospel.
