Thought for the Day: Simple

I got this thought today:

God’s grace makes things simple for us. Pride comes in when we think we have to do more.

That works with salvation, for sure – just believe in Jesus (just Jesus / Jesus alone – not our works), and with so many other things.

I think God’s grace is him doing all the hard work to make our tasks simple. Pride comes in when we think it’s up to us to add onto what God wants or did. Nope, what God does is enough. His grace is sufficient. Keep it simple.
